Literacy Volunteers of America – Prince William, Inc. (LVA-PW) was recently awarded a $8,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

Dollar General Literacy Foundation was established in 1993. They understand that life can present many obstacles, but we also know it’s never too late to learn.

Dollar General Literacy Foundation have the grant program available to qualifying organization in the 44 states where Dollar General stores are located.  Their organization have helped more than 9 million individuals learn to read, prepare for the high school equivalency, or learn English.
